At Smoky Mountain Drives we organize driving adventures where like minded car enthusiasts can drive through the gorgeous scenery and amazing roads of the Great Smoky Mountains, all while enjoying great company! The roads of Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina are destination drives where people travel from all over the world to explore this region. All of the major exotic car rallies have made this area their drive destination, as well as iconic manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Porsche and even Pagani. Being local to these Great Smoky Mountains allow us to provide value packed events where car enthusiasts from a variety of backgrounds are treated to driving events that are second to none! On our drives, there is nothing else to think about. We have done the planning, the route selection, the driving notes, identified fuel stops, found fantastic hotels and eating spots! All you need to do is show up and be prepared to drive!.

Whether it is your first time visiting the Tail of the Dragon and Smoky Mountain region or you make the trip several times a year, having locals guide you on a private drive will dramatically enhance your experience! No one knows the area better and no one has hosted as many guided drives are we have. We were born and raised in the area and our reputation is unrivaled. Don’t just drive around blindly in an unfamiliar area, we make custom curated routes where we will not only guide you through these legendary roads, but also help avoid the heavy traffic and show you some hidden gems that only locals know about.
Group driving tours
Are you bringing a small group of friends to our area to drive the Tail of the Dragon? We can host your group whether it is a Bachelor Party, Birthday Party, Corporate Event or just some friends wanting to maximize their experience. We are now hosting small group drives where lodging, food, and drinks are included; you just arrive with your car and we have everything taken care of. Your group will stay together at a great Smoky Mountain venue, providing an intimate experience with your car enthusiast friends that you will never forget! We are adding sports car rentals for 2024, so it will allow even more opportunities for group adventures.
event planning and car club driving tours
Are you wanting to bring your car club to the Tail of the Dragon, but don’t know the area? Have locals plan your drive or event and take all the stress off of your group, while providing a better quality experience for all. We have hosted events and guided drives for Private Car Clubs, Porsche clubs, Corvette clubs, Mustang Clubs, Exotic Car clubs, BMW clubs and many more! We have more experience hosting driving events than anyone in the area, have the knowledge of these iconic roads that few possess, have elite driving ability to cater to any group, and partnerships throughout the area that only locals can provide. For 2023, we helped plan several events for car clubs lead group drives that ranged from six cars to a group of 108 cars!
